Business & Corporate Partnerships

Put your business behind a stronger emergency-services community.

WNYIA business partnerships help support public education, volunteer recruitment promotion, community outreach, emergency-services recognition, philanthropy and the technology behind RAVEN. Partnership recognition is designed to acknowledge support without influencing WNYIA's incident reporting, moderation or public-safety editorial decisions.

What partnership recognition means

WNYIA may acknowledge a sponsor using its business name, logo, website, contact information and a value-neutral description of its products or services. Recognition is identification of support, not an endorsement of the sponsor's products or services.

Editorial independence: Sponsorship does not buy incident coverage, influence what WNYIA posts, change moderation decisions, affect RAVEN alerts, or create preferential treatment in any public-safety function.

Advertising and promotional placements

If a business wants promotional advertising beyond sponsor acknowledgment - such as sales language, product promotion, price offers or other commercial calls to action - that should be handled under a separate written advertising/marketing agreement and may be treated differently for accounting and tax purposes. WNYIA will keep those arrangements separate from charitable sponsorship recognition.

Final recognition benefits and placement are confirmed in writing before payment.
